So you find yourself in Roncesvalles on a sunny afternoon and you’re looking for a nice place to sit and have a spot of lunch or a midday pick me up?  We’ve got you covered! Here are some of our favourite patios in Roncesvalles that you have to check out this summer.

Bandit Brewery

If you’re closer to the north end of the strip, we highly recommend you stop in at Bandit Brewery. This one stop shop has an amazing patio that is first come first served.  This micro-brewery in the heart of Roncy has a patio reminiscent of a German beer garden with many wooden tables, trees and cute patio lights. Order up a labneh crostini and a glass of their Mr. Pink Watermelon Pale ale and soak up the sun!

La Cubana

The patio here is off the street and in the back of the building.  Step outside into a beautiful backyard full of lush greenery and brightly coloured chairs, this patio doesn’t feel like its in Toronto.  With a retractable awning, this is an all season patio we can’t get enough of.  We recommend a classic mojito paired with their BBQ Guava short rib medianoche.  YUM!

Loons Pub

This massive patio, possibly the largest one on Roncy, has a real classic Toronto patio vibe.  With tons of space, mis-matched furniture and flower baskets, Loons is the place to go for a laid back after work drink with friends.  Try to snag one of the muskoka chairs under the big shade tree and treat yourself to a pint of craft beer and a basket of fries.  Nice way to end the day.

Inter Steer Tavern

A  Roncy staple, The Inter Steer Tavern is a must!  With their CaféTO patio digs out front, this is the spot for people watching on Roncy. Serving up a very on brand menu of  Polish, Danish, Swedish and Scandinavian fare, The Inter Steer never disappoints. Order up a large bottle of  Zywiec, some pickled eggs, a plate of pierogi and sit back and watch the Roncy world go by, just like a real local.
