Our Favourite Patios in the Junction This Summer
Patios are back, baby! We are thrilled to see so many of our favourite local bars, cafés and restaurants opening up to outdoor dining this summer. Many of our old favourites are back, as well as some newcomers we’re really excited to check out. Perhaps one of the most varied strips for dining in the city, read on to see our favourite Junction patios we’ll definitely be hitting up this summer.
Playa Cabana Cantina
The entire Nested team eats here at least once a month, we might have a taco problem! With their spicy tacos and cool margaritas, Playa Cabana Cantina brings a slice of Mexico to Dundas St. W. Grab a table on their CaféTO patio, order up a classic margarita, the L.A. Food truck taco and pretend you’re on a beach in Tulum!

The Indie Alehouse
Our go to spot for team meetings! The Indie Alehouse currently has a fantastic curb‑side patio on Dundas St W. With a phenomenal beer list and delectable food menu, this patio is not to be missed! We recommend a glass of their Raspberry Funk and a side of fried chicken

The Alpine
Self proclaimed modern mountain lodge, The Alpine serves up European tavern inspired fare alongside a well thought out beer and cocktail list. Check out their patio while noshing on some soft pretzels and pierogis, paired with a beautiful craft lager

NODO Restaurant
You can’t go wrong with classic Italian. Expertly prepared Italian fare is on the menu at this Junction hot spot. From pizzas to pastas to salads, everything is delish! Complemented by an all Italian beer and wine list, make Nodo’s CaféTO patio your next stop for date night!

Atai Bistro
Newcomer on the block, Atai Bistro features a French- Moroccan inspired cuisine. Basteeya is a must-try menu item as it’s their signature dish inspired by the classic Moroccan B’stilla, a traditional chicken pie encased in sheets of pastry. Their CaféTO patio looks just as beautiful as their dishes. This is one spot we can’t wait to sink our teeth into.
